We met Arshad CHUMUN, Audit Partner, and discover how they create a great workplace culture with and for their employees.
1) What are you doing to ensure a healthy work-life balance for your employees?
At Audit Concepts, as a small audit firm, we keep things practical and human. We plan workloads carefully, respect personal commitments, and adapt schedules when needed. We encourage full use of annual leave and avoid excessive hours.
Our size allows direct, open discussions, ensuring flexibility and a genuine work-life balance, even during peak periods.
2) What role does your company intend to give to teleworking in the next 5 years?
Teleworking remains part of our approach, but we value human contact. Over the next five years, we’ll keep offering remote work for tasks that suit it while ensuring our team maintains strong client relationships and internal collaboration.
The right balance is key, especially in a small structure like ours.
3) What management style is most present in your company?
Our management is hands-on, accessible, and pragmatic. With a small team, we work closely together, encouraging open communication and trust. Everyone is expected to take ownership of their work, but they always have support.
Our leadership focuses on guidance, responsibility, and growing together as a team.
4) What are you doing to ensure good mental health in your company?
In a small firm, we see each other daily and quickly notice when someone is struggling. We regularly check in with the team, plan workloads realistically, and stay flexible when personal needs arise.
Our friendly atmosphere and direct communication help create a supportive, respectful work environment.
5) Give a concrete example of how your company's mental health initiatives are paying off.
During our last busy season, despite deadlines, our team stayed positive. We adapted work-from-home options, managed workloads carefully, and gave extra time off after deadlines.
The result? Strong team spirit, and good feedback from clients and staff—a clear sign our approach works.
